 how his dream of playing hockey was stolen from him by Graham James\, a ch
 arismatic predator\, Greg Gilhooly unflinchingly details the mental tormen
 t he suffered\, while revealing the terrible reality behind the sanitized 
 term “sexual assault.” Although James was convicted of sexually assaulting
  Sheldon Kennedy and Theo Fleury and confessed to both crimes\, he neither
  confessed nor was convicted for his sexual assault of Gilhooly.\n\nGilhoo
 ly sheds new light on sexual abuse and its treatment. As a highly successf
 ul lawyer\, Gilhooly provides a valuable legal perspective critical to thi
 s issue and argues that different approaches are needed for different vict
 ims. Most important\, Gilhooly offers hope\, affirmation\, and inspiration
  for those who have suffered abuse.\n\nGreg Gilhooly is a graduate of Prin
 ceton University and the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law. He has he
 ld senior positions in numerous corporations. He is in demand as a public

 ures\n\nCreated in 1992 by the Class of 1988 in memory of Patricia Allen\,
  a graduate of the Faculty who was tragically and senselessly murdered\, t
 his annual lectureship is devoted to sensitizing and educating the legal c
 ommunity and others about pressing social and legal issues related to viol
 ence\, particularly against women.\n
