  with the Sciences Po Law School\, ‘Eating Popcorn like a Lawyer’ is a sem
 inar series that seeks to establish a continuous dialogue between the fiel
 ds of law and film. For each session we invite a prominent legal scholar t
 o select\, discuss and analyze a thought-provoking film. \n\nFor our first
  session of the fall semester\, we will be joined by Prof. Allison Christi
 ans. Together we explore the wonderfully ludicrous cinematic roller-coaste
 r that is Everything Everywhere All at Once (the Daniels\, 2022). A seemin
 gly banal tax audit of their laundry business propels a family (played by 
 Michell Yeoh\, Stephanie Hsu and Ke Huy Quan) into an extraordinary advent
 ure across universes. Rules\, regulations and the laws of physics and biol
 ogy are bent and broken to save their unity. Love\, we will learn\, is as 
 omnipresent and inevitable as death and taxes. \n\nThe seminar is open to 
 all who wish to join us! \n\nThe film is to be watched beforehand. Through
