 tion Peer Support Group are hosting a First Gen networking mixer. Alumni a
 nd current students who identify as first generation - the first in your i
 mmediate family to pursue post-secondary education in Canada or if you wer
 e a youth in or coming from care - are invited to attend\, connect and sha
 re their experiences.The evening will be an informal opportunity for first
  generation alumni to meet with and offer guidance to current first genera
 tion students\, who have specifically identified the need for more network
 ing and mentoring experiences. Topics of discussion may include: the unive
 rsity experience\, transitioning to the 'real-world' after graduation\, ca
 reer paths\, and/or graduate studies. Facilitators will be onsite to ensur
 e flow of conversations and to provide ice-breaker activities. Any discipl
 ine or career path is welcome! Light refreshments will be served!Doors at
