The 51³Ô¹ÏÍøGlobal Health Film Festival is back--just in time for World TB Day!

This year we are happy to partner with the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøInternational TB Centre to present the 2019 51³Ô¹ÏÍøGlobal Health Film Festival. Split over two evenings the film festival will explore the often untold stories of the TB community.

Join us Thursday March 21st on McGill's downtown campus, to learn more about how TB is portrayed in film and print media with a panel that includes patient activist Priya Amin. The evening will also feature a screening of the film "TB Unmasked" (), which tells the stories of frontline healthcare workers fighting TB.Ìý

Then on Friday March 22nd, the Film Festival will continue with a screening of "The Necessities of Life (Ce qu'il faut pour vivre)" (). Following the film will be a Q&A session and discussion around the complex legacy of TB treatment in Canada, especially in Indigenous communities. This evening will close the TB Centre Research Day at the MUHC Glen Campus, but all those interested are welcome to attend.

Snacks, including popcorn bar on Thursday, will be provided.
