McGill's Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is becoming the new Student Experience Record (SER), which will be launched in Fall 2025 in the .ÌýThis change will enhance the way we recognize and document student learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. The deadline to submit CCR participation/attendance lists has passed. Activities that took place before July 1, 2025, were eligible for the CCR, but any participant lists received after August 1 will not be processed. Historical CCR data will be preserved and migrated to the SER for current students.

The workshop will be held onÌýTuesday, August 13, 2024, fromÌý11:00 am to 1:00 pm,

The workshop will be held in the McIntyre Medical Building, 2ndÌýfloor, room 208/209.

This workshop is designed to teach you how to attract and maintain the attention of readers in primarily STEM disciplines with effective images and image captions.ÌýÌýÌý

Participate in this 2-hour interactive workshop and you will the following:
Ìý Ìý Ìý-evaluate the visual and expressive impact of images and image captions
Ìý Ìý Ìý-practice improving images and image captions to attract readers to your work

ÌýPlease come to the workshop with:
Ìý Ìý Ìý-an image for a project you are working on
Ìý Ìý Ìý-a sample TOC (Table of Contents) graphic and figure from a journal you want to publish in

The workshop will be held in the McIntyre Medical Building, 2ndÌýfloor, room 208/209.

The workshop will be led byÌýDr. Chris Corkery, who has worked in science and research communication for fifteen years. He is currently a Technology Transfer Manager at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø.

The registration for the workshop will take approximately 2 minutes to complete.
