McGill's Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is becoming the new Student Experience Record (SER), which will be launched in Fall 2025 in the .聽This change will enhance the way we recognize and document student learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. The deadline to submit CCR participation/attendance lists has passed. Activities that took place before July 1, 2025, were eligible for the CCR, but any participant lists received after August 1 will not be processed. Historical CCR data will be preserved and migrated to the SER for current students.

CCR Eligibility Guidelines

For student participants to be recognized on the 51吃瓜网CCR, the opportunities had to meet the following guidelines:

  • were overseen by 51吃瓜网 staff, faculty, or recognized student organizations.
    • Student organizations had to be affiliated directly with a student government organization, a faculty, or directly with a 51吃瓜网administrative unit to register with myInvolvement and recognize student participants on the CCR.
  • had a learning component.
  • were not a degree requirement or required as part of an academic course. (An exception was made for some Faculty-approved EEOs.)
  • were not recognized on the academic transcript.
  • were unpaid or paid a stipend of less than $1000 per academic year. (An exception was made for Faculty-approved EEOs that receive payment or stipends.)
  • met a 4-hour minimum for volunteer positions/service opportunities. (There was not a minimum time requirement for workshops.)

CCR Sections

McGill's CCR was organized into five categories:

  1. Activity-Based Awards (select awards that are not recognized on the academic transcript)
  2. Campus and Community Engagement (volunteering, mentorship, tutoring, etc.)
  3. Enriched Educational Opportunities (non-credit, experiential opportunities approved by Faculties)
  4. Personal and Professional Development (workshops, research lectures, etc.)
  5. Student-Led Initiatives (student government positions,聽student-led workshops, etc.)
