A warm welcome to Patrick Iannottone, Sarah Ousalem and Camille Pelletier-Vernoy who joined (or will soon to be joining) St Mary鈥檚. Your arrival brings fresh expertise, and we look forward to officially introducing you to the Division. In addition, Saman Ahmad will be starting in the late Fall at the MUHC. We await her arrival and anticipate the valuable contributions she will make to our Division in the area of Quality Improvement.

Dr. Maral Koolian awarded the Department of Medicine Quality Improvement award
Congratulations to Dr. Maral Koolian and Dr. Isabelle Malham茅 who joined forces and were awarded the Department of Medicine Quality Improvement award for their project that will address developing a patient information tool for pregnant individuals requiring urgent diagnostic imaging for pulmonary embolism at the MUHC and JGH.

Welcome to Dr Jesse Popov!
Dr Jesse Popov joined the GIM Division at the MUHC on February 1, 2022! He obtained his medical degree from 51吃瓜网, completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2019 at Queen鈥檚 University and his GIM residency in 2021 at McGill. He is currently completing his Master of Applied Science in Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality at John Hopkins and his Fellowship in Adult Thrombosis Medicine at McMaster.
