DESCRIPTION:'The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Dementia Education Program and the Alzhe
 imer Society of Montreal have partnered to offer The Sharing Room\, a safe
  space for care partners to share about their experiences\, to connect onl
 ine with each other to break the isolation\, and to engage and identify th
 eir own needs as care providers. \n\nThe Sharing Room offers different vir
 tual support groups to care partners of people living with dementia (PLWD)
 . There is a group for partners/spouses and another group for adult childr
 en of PLWD\, and  each group is offered in both French and English.  \n\nT
 his spring\, we will offer an additional Sharing Room group for friends or
  family members who are caring for someone with dementia who is not their 
 spouse\, partner or parent. It will be facilitated bilingually without liv
 e translations. Participants should have a basic understanding of both Eng
 lish and French but are encouraged to speak in the language of their choos
 ing.\n\nThe group size is kept to a maximum of eight participants in order
  to give everyone ample time and opportunity to express their views. \n\nT
 he Sharing Room takes place online through Zoom and is facilitated by a tr
 ained moderator. Participants will have to commit to meeting with their gr
 oup for 90 minutes every second week for 12 weeks.'\n
