 f scholarly podcasting engenders radical possibilities for how we conceive
  of knowledge creation and peer review. By investigating the historical de
 velopment of the norms of scholarly communication\, the unique affordances
  of sound-based scholarship and the transformative potential of new modes 
 of creating and reviewing expert knowledge\, Podcast or Perish is the call
  to action academia needs\, by asking how podcasting might change the very
  ways we think about scholarly work.\n\nLori Beckstead is a podcaster and 
 Associate Professor in the RTA School of Media at Toronto Metropolitan Uni
 versity\, Canada\, who loves dad jokes\, footnotes\, and bandying about th
 e word ‘neoliberalism’.\n\nIan M. Cook is an anthropologist from a magical
  place where giant gingers are produced. He works for OLIve - the Open Lea
 rning Initiative in Hungary\, which provides adult education for people wh
 o have experienced displacement.\n\nHannah McGregor is a podcaster\, write
 r\, and Associate Professor of Publishing at Simon Fraser University\, Can
