 first part of the workshop will be a presentation. During the second part 
 of the workshop\, participants will be broken into small groups via breako
 ut rooms in order to workshop their Op-Ed ideas. Only the first part of th
 e workshop will be recorded. You are welcome to attend just the first part
  if you prefer.\n\nThis event is open to academics of many levels: faculty
 \, independent scholars\, and graduate students.\n	You are welcome to eat y
 our lunch during this lunchtime workshop.\n\nDr. Dechief is the Science Co
 mmunication Specialist at the Office for Science Education 51³Ô¹ÏÍøUniversi
 ty. She was formerly Faculty Lecturer at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Writing Centr
 e where she designed\, taught\, and coordinated writing courses focussed o
 n science communication and digital genres.\n\nThis event is part of the 3
