 ristina Sharpe (York University): Talk & Seminar\n\nChristina Sharpe is Pr
 ofessor of Humanities at York University and Distinguished Visiting Profes
 sor at Ryerson University. She is the author of two books: Monstrous Intim
 acies: Making Post-Slavery Subjects (2010) and In the Wake: On Blackness a
 nd Being (2016) both published by Duke University Press. She is currently 
 working on a monograph called Black. Still. Life.\n	\n	Her talk\, entitled '
 Ordinary Notes' will be taking place on January 13th\, at Leacock 232 from
  5:30-7:30pm. This talk is free and open to the public\; seating is on a f
 irst come first served basis.\n	\n	The seminar will also be held on January 
 13th\, from 12pm-2pm at Wendy Patrick Hall (WILSON 118). You must be regis
 tered to attend as spaces are limited. Please email climatechangeseries [a
