 zing in the history of the middle classes\, urban history and queer/LGBT h
 istory.  He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and a winner of th
 e H. Noel Fieldhouse Award for Distinguished Teaching in the Faculty of Ar
 ts and of the Principal’s Prize for Excellence in Teaching.\n
