  (TISED) and 51³Ô¹ÏÍøGlobal Health Programs are launching a collaborative s
 eed grant ($75\,000 - $100\,000 each) pilot initiative to address challeng
 es to planetary health. We'll fund health-related solutions at the nexus b
 etween disease\, rapid environmental degradation and climate change caused
  by unsustainable industrialization\, urban growth and resource consumptio
 n practices. This initiative will grant funding at least two interdiscipli
 nary projects with researchers leading from both the Faculty of Medicine a
 nd the Faculty of Engineering\, with the larger goal of building a communi
 ty of interdisciplinary researchers at 51³Ô¹ÏÍøworking in global environmen
 tal health. These collaborations will have the potential to transform live
 s across the globe\, especially in underserved regions where poverty and p
