BMJ Glob Health 2016\;1:e00 0115). But it is more easily stated than accomplished! \n\nThis half-day w orkshop will be the opportunity for trainees and students to learn from th eir peers how to mobilize specifics methods to study the implementation of global health interventions. The workshop will be divided in 3 parts. Aft er an introductory lecture\, the second part will be organized around a se ries of short (8-10’ talk) presentations by students and researchers who w ill focus on methods used and put forward their reflexive thinking about u sing these methods. The second part will consist of a world coffee session where participants will have the opportunity to discuss and share experie nce with each of the presenters.\n\nAs space is limited\, please register  to reserve your spot by April 18th.\n\nProgram\n\nOPENING REMARKS - Matth ew Hunt (51³Ô¹ÏÍø)\n\nINTRODUCTION - Valéry Ridde (Université de Montréal)\n\nDefinitions\, history\, theory based-evaluation\, interventio n theory and Template for Intervention Description and Replication (TiDier )\, Proctor framework\, case studies\, spatial\, etc methods presented tod ay and others (ideas\, mixed methods\, costs)\, workshop outline and organ ization\n\nLIGHTNING TALKS\n\nEach short presentation will cover:\n\n\n Con text and description of the intervention\n Research objectives\n Description of the method used\, rational\n Findings\n Strengths\, limitations\, challe nges of the method\n\n\n1-Process evaluation\n\n\n Combining two frameworks to analyze a knowledge brokering strategy : Consolidated framework for ad vancing implementation science (CFIR) and Ecological framework (EF): Esthe r McSween-Cadieux (Université de Montréal)\n Leadership and motivation : a multi-level approach: François Chiocchio (University of Ottawa)\n Ethic and process evaluation : Matthew Hunt (51³Ô¹ÏÍø)\n Multiple streams f ramework (MSF) to analyze the health social protection program implementat ion in Burkina: Kadidiatou Kadio (Université de Montréal)\n The TIDieR Chec klist (Template for Intervention Description and Replication) : A useful t ool for scoping/systematic reviews : Stéphanie Degroote (Université de Mon tréal)\n\n\n2-Fidelity/adaptation evaluation\n\n\n Fidelity/adaptation fram ework and dengue community based intervention in Cuba : Dennis Pérez Chacó n (Université de Montréal)\n Comparison of registered and published interve ntion fidelity assessment in cluster randomized trials of public health in terventions in low to middle income countries (LMIC) : Nanor Minoyan and M yriam Cielo (Université de Montréal)\n\n\n3-Context/process/outcome (Reali st Evaluation)\n\n\n Looking at implementation: how useful is realist evalu ation?: Emilie Robert (51³Ô¹ÏÍø)\n\n\n4-Unintended outcomes and h eterogeneity\n\n\n Using the Diffusion of Innovation Theory to Study the Un intended Consequences of Health Interventions: Anne-Marie Turcotte-Trembla y (Université de Montréal)\n Qualitative case study method to understand th e heterogeneity of effects of a health policy in Burkina Faso: Loubna Bela id (Université de Montréal)\n Spatial heterogeneity and intervention effect s: Kate Zinszer (Université de Montréal) and Emmanuel Bonnet (Institut de recherche pour le développement)\n\n\n5-Ownership and Sustainability\n\n\n Using the policy diffusion framework to investigate domestic actors’ owner ship of performance-based financing in Mali : Lara Gautier (Université de Montréal)\n A case study approach to comprehend sustainability's framework: Mathieu Seppey (Université de Montréal)\n\n\nROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS WITH EXPERTS\n\nCONCLUSION\n\nWINE AND CHEESE\n\n \n\nREGISTER NOW\n\n \n DTSTART:20170420T180000Z DTEND:20170420T210000Z LOCATION:Ballroom\, Thomson House\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 1Y2\, 3650 rue McTavish SUMMARY:Global Health Workshop: Methods For Implementation Science in Globa l Health URL:/globalhealth/channels/event/global-health-worksho p-methods-implementation-science-global-health-266574 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
