Biography: 
Dr. Samiratou Ouedraogo is a public health researcher and Adjunct Professor at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. She serves as Co-Chair of the OR Tambo Africa Research Chair on Cancer and Health Equity and an Assistant Professor at Université Joseph KI-ZERBO in Burkina Faso. With over 15 years of experience in Public and Global health, her work focuses on disease prevention, especially cancer, implementation research, and gender equity. Dr. Ouedraogo collaborates with national and international partners and has led multi-country projects on cervical and breast cancer prevention. She is a UICC Young Leader and alumna of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Health System Impact Fellowship. Her interdisciplinary work bridges research, advocacy, and policy, with a strong commitment to reducing health inequalities in low-resource and conflict-affected settings. She also mentors early-career researchers across Africa and is co-founder of the Action Group Against Cancer and Women in Global Health Francophone West Africa.
