She currently practices at the GMF-U Herzl Family Practice Centre where she is also the medical director of the Teenage Health Unit (THU). Dr Quan has an interest in medical education and is the course director of the Lo ngitudinal Family Medicine Experience (LFME)\, the family medicine course for first year medical students. She is involved in resident training as t he interim Competence Committee Chair at the Herzl. She has recently teame d up with Dr Anne Cockcroft's participatory research group to explore the factors that influence teenagers in accessing medical care.   \n \n\n \n Dr. Anne Cockcroft\, a physician with a background in respiratory and occupati onal medicine\, is a professor in PRAM in the 51³Ô¹ÏÍødepartment of Family Medicine. Working with CIET (a non-profit linked with PRAM)\, she undertak es community-based participatory research. Her recent research in Northern Nigeria focuses on adolescent sexual and reproductive health\, and equita ble community recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. Current projects in Bo tswana involve older adults in participatory problem-solving to reduce dem entia\, and youth in co-design of strategies to prevent personal and inter personal violence. As part of PRAM\, she has partnered with Yvonne Quan of the Teenage Health Unit in the Herzl Clinic to hear the views of teenager s about what influences their use of the THU services. \n \n \n\n Research Se minar Series\n\n Each month\, the Department of Family Medicine hosts a res earch seminar that explores a wide range of topics and methods relevant to primary health care.
