DESCRIPTION:This seminar will be presented by Dr. Fitriana\, the 2022-2023 
 recipient of the ‘Pierre Pluye International Prize for Master's Theses and
  Doctoral Dissertations Using Mixed Methods Research in Family Medicine Ed
 ucation.’ Her doctoral dissertation is entitled The Role of Interprofessio
 nal Collaborative Practice (IPCP) among Primary Health Care Providers in M
 alnutrition in the Elderly.\n\nDr. Fitriana's study results show that IPCP
  skills were significantly higher in the intervention group and were bette
 r compared to the control group (usual care). The intervention improved th
 e patient- and family-centered collaborative approach. In addition\, resul
 ts revealed three main themes regarding the experiences of older adults wi
 th malnutrition and their families: IPCP provides comprehensive care\, imp
 roves clinician-patient communication\, and improves knowledge exchange.\n

  wide range of research methods and topics relevant to primary health care
 \, and provide opportunity for interaction and exchange with the speakers.
