She holds a M aster’s of Science in Statistics from 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and a Bachelor’s o f Science in Statistics obtained with distinctions from Concordia Universi ty. Her doctoral work focused on describing trends in primary care perform ance for persons with dementia in Ontario and on using robust causal infer ence methods to evaluate the impact of interdisciplinary primary care team s on health service utilization in this population. Nadia’s research also created accessible guidance on the advantages and uses of causal inference methods for impact evaluation. Taken together\, the evidence produced in this body of work fills important substantive and methodological gaps in p rimary care dementia research and will help guide ongoing dementia strateg ies in Ontario and elsewhere. Nadia’s PhD was jointly supervised by Dr. Is abelle Vedel and Dr. Tibor Schuster as well as guided by her committee mem bers Dr. Susan Bronskill and Dr. Howard Bergman. She was awarded a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship from the Canadian Institutes for Health Resear ch (CIHR) as well awards from the CIHR Institute for Health Services and P olicy Research\, the Quebec Network for Research on Aging and the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøD epartment of Family Medicine.
