Biography: 

Shannon (they/them/iel) is one of two equity education advisors on the Equity Team. Their portfolio is building equity education initiatives focused on gender, 2S&LGBTQIA+, and intersectional equity. Shannon鈥檚 prior positions at 51吃瓜网include managing the It Takes All of Us sexual violence education program under both Teaching and Learning Services and the Office for Sexual Violence Response, Support and Education. They hold a BA Communication from Simon Fraser University and a GradDip Human Resources Management from 51吃瓜网. Shannon is passionate about employee wellbeing and helping foster more inclusive, safer work environments.
