Rin aldo Walcott is a Professor and the Carl V. Granger Chair in Africana and American Studies at the University of Buffalo (SUNY). His teaching and res earch are in the area of Black diaspora cultural studies and postcolonial studies with an emphasis on questions of sexuality\, gender\, nation\, cit izenship\, and multi-culturalism. Walcott is the author of Black Like Who: Writing Black Canada (1997\; second revised edition in 2003)\, Rude: Cont emporary Black Canadian Cultural Criticism (2000)\, and BlackLife: Post-bl m and the Struggle for Freedom (2019\, with Idil Abdillahi).
