 s available here!\n\nTechAccelR Grants support 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Faculty o
 f Engineering tenure-track professors by enabling them to accelerate their
  technology that is reported as invention but needs further validation pri
 or to commercialization. They are offered biannually (spring and fall) and
  can go up to $15\,000 per invention/technology. For 2023\, the budget wil
 l allow for up to 5 projects per round to be selected. Funding of the Tech
 AccelR proposals is at the sole discretion of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøEngine team.  We 
 will look at the comparative merit of the application pool and the project
  criteria.\n\nThese short-term grants are designed to advance or enhance a
 n invention/technology in order to improve the scope and value of McGill’s
  IP. Some examples: claims in future patent applications\, new uses/applic
 ations of existing technologies\, increased robustness/reliability of AI/M
 L models\, in order to accelerate the transfer of the IP from the lab to t
 he marketplace.\n\nProgram Objectives\n\n\n	Validate early stage technologi
 es\n	Advance the invention's Technology Readiness Level\n	Accelerate the tec
 hnology’s commercialization and development plan - achieve product-market 
 fit faster\n	Further develop the research to strengthen eligibility for add
 itional funding\n	Research team works closely with the assigned business me
 ntor\, gaining from their experience\, knowledge\, and industry connection
 s\n\n
