 ailable here!\n\nTechAccelR Grants support 51łÔąĎÍř Faculty of En
 gineering tenure-track professors by enabling them to accelerate their tec
 hnology that is reported as invention but needs further validation prior t
 o commercialization. They are offered biannually (spring and fall) and can
  go up to $15\,000 per invention/technology. For 2023\, the budget will al
 low for up to 5 projects per round to be selected. Funding of the TechAcce
 lR proposals is at the sole discretion of the 51łÔąĎÍřEngine team.  We will
  look at the comparative merit of the application pool and the project cri
 teria.\n\nThese short-term grants are designed to advance or enhance an in
 vention/technology in order to improve the scope and value of McGill’s IP.
  Some examples: claims in future patent applications\, new uses/applicatio
 ns of existing technologies\, increased robustness/reliability of AI/ML mo
 dels\, in order to accelerate the transfer of the IP from the lab to the m
 arketplace.\n\nProgram Objectives\n\n\n	Validate early stage technologies\n
 	Advance the invention's Technology Readiness Level\n	Accelerate the technol
 ogy’s commercialization and development plan - achieve product-market fit 
 faster\n	Further develop the research to strengthen eligibility for additio
 nal funding\n	Research team works closely with the assigned business mentor
 \, gaining from their experience\, knowledge\, and industry connections\n
 \n
