A novel approach to educating future teachers about the environment and sustainability

McGill’s Faculty of Education is pioneering a new approach to sustainability education that goes beyond traditional teaching methods. Led by Associate Professor Blane Harvey, with contributions from PhD candidate Stephanie Leite, the initiative uses a co-design and co-teaching model where students, schoolteachers, and community members collaborate to develop and deliver courses.

Joseph Levitan, DISE, Presents Kaushalam Program Study Results at SCERT Uttarakhand

The Kaushalam program, a collaborative initiative between the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Uttarakhand and the Udyam Learning Foundation, aims to cultivate 21st-century life skills and an entrepreneurial mindset among students in Uttarakhand. A comprehensive study conducted during the 2024–25 academic year assessed the program's impact on Grade 9 students across seven districts.
