KPE Alumna Savannah King a Featured McGill24 Ambassador

Olympic medalist in swimming,Savannah King is a graduate of the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education who went on to work as a Project Administrator within the department before becoming Associate Coach and Social Media Coordinator for the 51ԹVarsity Swim Team. Selected as a McGill24 ambassador for the University's Day of Giving, she is lending her support to 51Թin advocating for student-athletes during the 24-hour fundraiser.

Completion of KPE's Indigenous Space: The Onkwanaktí:io Lab

The Faculty of Education's Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education (KPE) has unveiled its new Indigenous space, named the Onkwanaktí:io lab, which aims to provide a supportive environment for Indigenous students and encourage Indigenous-focused research.

The space features a mural highlighting Indigenous athletes and a hand-carved wooden table depicting traditional Indigenous sports, underscoring the connection between culture, movement, and community.
