The four domains of food sustainability can be broadly defined in terms of nutrition and heal th\, economics\, culture and society\, and the environment. Their dynamic interactions at the regional and global scale can be complicated by the nu trition transition\, agro-industrial practices\, and by climate change. On one hand\, existing diets are said to drive climate change\; on the other \, global warming can shape what our diets will be in year 2050. Big data inputs for analytics need to be context specific: the future of public hea lth lies in precise geo-localization of dietary and health data at fine re solution. Among methods\, metrics and models to be discussed will be recen t advances in nutrient profiling of foods\, affordability indices and geog raphic distributions of diets and obesity rates in the US and elsewhere. B ig data analytics are needed to identify foods and cultural food patterns that nutrient rich\, affordable\, culturally acceptable and with low impac t on the environment. \n\n \n\nAdam Drewnowski\, PhD\n\nProfessor of Epide miology\n\nDirector\, Center for Public Health Nutrition\n\nUniversity of Washington\, Seattle\n\nWebsite\n DTSTART:20170426T150000Z DTEND:20170426T163000Z SUMMARY:BRIDGE Webinar: Adam Drewnowski\, University of Washington URL:/desautels/channels/event/bridge-webinar-adam-drew nowski-university-washington-267788 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
