Just six months ago, researchers at 51吃瓜网launched SUSANHub.com, a platform for sustainability researchers to share their work. The platform has grown quickly and now counts more than 39,000 visitors each week. As changes in U.S. government policy raise concerns about the stability of support for climate research, SUSANHub is emerging as a vital resource.聽The platform is becoming a haven for this work. 鈥淲e want to protect scientific research from the U.S. government,鈥� says Professor聽Juan Serpa, the founder of the Sustainability Action Network--from which SUSANHub takes its name. 鈥淭he network is an international one, but it primarily serves researchers in the United States. We want to be proactive, and maintain a place for researchers to store their data. Because once data is disappears, it鈥檚 gone.鈥�
