MSc and PhD students must present at Re search Day at least once during the studies. This is typically in the seco nd year of the MSc program and in the third year of the PhD program. Note that students are welcome to present more than once during their studies. \n\nAbstracts may be related to one of the following areas: \n\n\n Populati on Oral Health \n Mineralized Tissues and Extracellular Matrix Biology \n Bi omaterials\, Nanobiotechnology\, and Tissue Engineering \n Pain and Neurosc ience \n\n\nStudents will either give an oral or a poster presentation. Fo r oral sessions\, individual presentations will be delivered as part of la rger panels of presentations. Each presenter will be assigned a specific t ime for their presentation. Session moderators will monitor time\, be resp onsible for the transition between presenters\, and moderate the session’s question period.\n\nFor poster presentations\, students will present thei r posters to explain their research and respond to questions from other at tendees.\n\nYou may identify a preference for an oral or poster presentati on when you submit your abstract. We will take this into consideration whe n planning the sessions\, however\, we cannot guarantee that your request will be granted.\n\nRequirements\n\n\n Abstracts should be 1 page maximum\, with 2.54 cm margins and 12 point font.\n Please use Calibri or Times New Roman font.\n All co-authors must have agreed to be co-authors.\n Please sta te your name\, year\, program and affiliation in the document.\n All submis sions will be reviewed for quality\, relevance and merit.\n Please ensure t hat your abstract does not contain spelling\, grammatical or scientific er rors.\n Abstracts may be in English or French.\n\n\nPlease submit abstracts through this form. The abstract submission deadline is February 16\, 2024 . \n\n**Anyone included as a co-author must have agreed to be a co-author. \n\nAbstract submissions for Research Day will be reviewed and notificatio ns will be sent by March 24\, 2024. These invitations will be accompanied by more specific instructions regarding the logistics and format of presen tations.\n\nAdditional Information for DMD students\n\nAll DMD2\, DMD3\, a nd DMD4 students will be exempted from afternoon classes (12:00-6:00 pm) a nd must attend the event.
