In the industry\, pollution is regulated thr ough an Emission Trading System (ETS) scheme that allocates emissions' rig hts to firms. Firms may also invest in emission abatement technology to re duce the cost of emission rights. Our main findings show that\, despite th e commitment toward emission abatement\, an individual ECSR firm may pollu te more than its PS counterpart. By contrast\, the introduction of the ETS puts competitive pressure to ECSR firms by inducing PS firms to invest in emission abatement.\n\n (with Gianluca Iannucci)\n\n DTSTART:20221201T160000Z DTEND:20221201T170000Z LOCATION:CA\, ZOOM SUMMARY:On the Interplay between Environmental CSR Practices and Emission P ermits URL:/cim/channels/event/interplay-between-environmenta l-csr-practices-and-emission-permits-351872 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
