 ved and is better understood\, thus opening the door to a possible comebac
 k. Dr. George Kunos and his team at the NIH synthesize CB1 blockers with n
 ovel characteristics\, and teams up with Montral-based Inversago Pharma wh
 o will take on the challenge to orchestrate an important paradigm shift. T

 \nDr. Francois Ravenelle is a 51³Ô¹ÏÍøChemistry graduate obtaining his PhD 
 degree in 2002 under the supervision of the late Professor Bob Marchessaul
 t. He is a pharmaceutical development scientist and entrepreneur with more
  than 20 years of industrial R&D and management experience in drug develop
 mentHe served as Chief Executive Officer and co-founder at Inversago Pharm
 a Inc. (2016-2024)\, steering the comeback of cannabinoid receptor-1 (CB1)
  blockers\, currently undergoing clinical proof of concept studies. Dr. Ra
 venelle brough two compounds to the clinic\, and launched two Phase 2 with
  its lead CB1 blocker. He has also worked on a variety of drug products\, 
 from small molecules to peptides\, and participated in the successful fili
 ng and execution of clinical trials while operating in virtual pharma comp
 any environments. Before co-founding Inversago\, François held several sen
 ior level positions with increased responsibilities at Labopharm\, Therate
 chnologies and Verlyx Pharma.\n
