We are reaching out to you in hope that you can help us with the CFPC鈥檚 Outcomes of Training Project which involves conducting national focus groups with early career family physicians. We are conducting a study to examine聽preparedness聽and the聽factors that influence practice choices of early career family physicians in their first five years.聽Understanding these factors is critical for the CFPC as we begin to better advocate to governments using evidence to聽support our family physicians.聽

ReCharge is a series of 7 workshops facilitated by a clinical nurse that responds to the needs of English-speaking caregivers throughout the Mont茅r茅gie region by providing a variety of technical and practical health care topics to take care for their loved ones, as well as mindfulness activities that serve for the caregivers to recharge their own energy.

Chatline is a student-run online extension of 51吃瓜网Students鈥� Nightline. It is a confidential, anonymous, and non-judgmental instant messaging service. Chatters will be connected to one of our volunteers through an anonymous platform. Our volunteers are trained in empathetic active listening, and can also provide information, referrals, and non-professional guidance during a crisis.
The Undergraduate Medical Education Office聽is inviting applications for the position of聽Professionalism Advisor (PA).聽聽The specific responsibilities of the PA are to receive, review, and act upon reports of alleged exemplary and/or suboptimal professional behaviours by students registered in the MDCM program (or related joint programs), as described in the UGME聽Policy on Student Professionalism Behaviours聽and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences聽Code of Conduct.聽 The Professionalism Advisor will serve both Campuses. S/he is selected and reports to the Associate Dean UGME.
Once again, we are approaching the annual NAPCRG (North American Primary Care Research Group) conference where we have traditionally had a very strong turn out by our 51吃瓜网Department of Family Medicine!
Again this year, we are pleased to include a modified schedule that highlights all of our student and Faculty presentations.
