On the last run of her first snowboarding lesson in early January, 23-year-old 51吃瓜网student Christina Barakett decided it was time to try a 180-degree turn - an intermediate snowboarding move. But part way into the turn, Barakett took a plunge that landed her in the Emergency Department of the 51吃瓜网 Health Centre (MUHC) Montreal General Hospital (MGH) site with a broken left wrist.
