Congratulations to BCom students Aissatou Fanny, Christine Farah, Nikos Wildhaber-Riley, and Joseph Boonen, under the supervision of Faculty Lecturer Tatiana Lamoureux Gauvin, for their honourable mention at the 2023 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Global Case Writing Competition for their submission "Diversity on Screen: Allure Studios’ Challenging Casting Decision."

Managed by the William Davidson Institute (WDI) at the University of Michigan and supported by the Ross School of Business, the third edition of the competition generated 26 cases from seven countries. The 51³Ô¹ÏÍøDesautels team’s case, which explores how the entertainment industry, specifically in casting, must grapple with issues of diversity and inclusion, will be published and available for purchase globally.
