DESCRIPTION:Recruitment of Policy Leaders (RPL)\n\nThe program targets and 
 recruits exceptional candidates into mid to senior-level policy positions 
 in the federal public service. The initiative is designed to attract top-l
 evel professionals and graduates (master or PhD)\, from an array of discip
 lines\, who have the drive and potential to shape the future of Canada’s p
 ublic policy landscape. Each year\, over 1\,800 applications are received\
 , and around 30-40 recruits are selected. Recruits are invited to tackle t
 he nation’s most critical public policy challenges in a dynamic\, professi
 onal environment. Recruits come from fields as diverse as physics\, manage

 m and will answer questions. Patrick was until recently the Senior Policy 
 Advisor to the Chief Negotiator for Climate Change and Assistant Deputy Mi
 nister of the International Affairs Branch at Environment Canada and is no
 w the Chief of Staff of the Senior Vice-President\, Parks Canada Operation
 s.\n	\n	\n	Programme de recrutement de leaders en politique (RLP)\n	\n	Le progr
 amme cible et recrute des candidats exceptionnels pour des postes de nivea
 ux intermédiaire et supérieur au sein de la fonction publique fédérale. Il
  vise à attirer des professionnels et des diplômés de haut calibre (maîtri
 se ou doctorat)\, de différentes disciplines\, qui possèdent la motivation
  et le potentiel voulus pour façonner les politiques publiques au Canada. 
 Chaque année\, le programme reçoit environ 1800 demandes et environ 30 à 4
 0 candidatures sont retenues. Les recrues sont prêtes à relever les plus g
 rands défis en matière de politiques publiques et proviennent de domaines 
 aussi variés que la physique\, la gestion ou l'aide internationale.\n	\n	htt
