You will learn about careers other than cli nical/counselling or research.  Find out ways in which your Psychology deg ree can be applied and how your undergrad can lead you to a career that is desirable!\n\nSPEAKERS:\n\nAmanda St Jean\, B.A. Psychology\n Occupational Therapist\, Jewish General Hospital\n\nAmanda St-Jean is an Occupational Therapist (OT) working at the Jewish General Hospital.  She has a Bachelor s degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa (2009) and Masters De gree in OT from 51³Ô¹ÏÍø(2012). She specializes in Adult Mental Health\, an d has experience working in both in-patient and out-patient settings. She is passionate about mental health promotion and improving services for pat ients\, and has been a part of Recovery in Action research projects\, as w ell as part of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøOT Mentorship program. \n\n\nGabriella Settino\n First year 51³Ô¹ÏÍøLaw Student\n\nGabriella completed an Honours Bachelor o f Arts in Psychology at Queen's University in Kingston\, Ontario\, and is now in her first year of Law School at McGill.  Throughout her undergradua te degree\, she worked as a research assistant in a social psychology lab\ , where she assisted a graduate student with her work on social media and attitudes. Additionally\, she volunteered in a cognitive neuroscience lab at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland\, where she had the privilege o f studying abroad last year. She also participated in a summer abroad prog ram in East Sussex\, England\, during which she took courses on philosophy and post-Impressionist art. Outside of school\, she enjoys travelling\, a rt\, fashion\, and music.\n\n\nVanessa Robles\, BSc. Psychology\n Brand Man ager\, Footwear\, Michael Kors\n\nVanessa graduated from 51³Ô¹ÏÍøin 2012 wi th a Bachelor of Science\, Majoring in Psychology with a Minor in Internat ional Relations.  She started working for Michael Kors Canada as a Footwea r Assistant Brand Manager right after she graduated and has been working t here now for a total of 5 years.  About 2 years ago\, she was promoted to Brand Manager and is now responsible for managing all Canadian wholesale a ccounts as well as overseeing the footwear business in MK retail stores.\n \n\nCorina Sferdenschi\, BSc. Psychology\n Undergraduate Coordinator\, Chem ical Engineering\n 51³Ô¹ÏÍøEngineering Student Centre (MESC)\n\nHaving a con tinual thirst for knowledge\, after my graduation from the Bachelor of Sci ence in Psychology at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø\, I have pursued my education with two post-graduate diplomas in Communications and Human Resources. All my education to date has enabled me to acquire a vast array of experience in diverse fields of work. I have worked as Communications Manager for a shor t period of time and then as Human Resources Coordinator before landing my current position in student affairs as a Departmental Advisor in Engineer ing.
