 ars ago\, after gaining her admission to practice law in California\, Zuza
 na Goldstein made it her mission to assist other immigrants like herself i
 n accomplishing their goals and attaining success in the U.S. Over the yea
 rs\, she has developed a comprehensive practice that offered a variety of 
 immigration and business legal services. In the past ten years\, she has f
 ocused her immigration practice on working mostly with technology and biot
 echnology startups.  Her firm specializes in business-\, investment- and e
 mployment-based immigration and visa applications. She represents both ind
 ividual and corporate clients in many types of applications. These include
  foreign business visitors (B-1 visa)\, professionals in specialty occupat
 ions (H-1B and TN visas)\, intracompany transferees (L-1 visa)\, treaty tr
 aders (E-1 visa)\, treaty investors (E-2 visa)\, and many other clients in
 cluding accomplished scientists (EB-1 category)\, business leaders (EB-2 c
 ategory) and uniquely talented individuals (O visas) who achieved preemine
 nce in their respective fields.  Zuzana’s firm provides services to compan
 ies and entrepreneurs from around the world\, with the majority of clients
  coming from Australia\, Canada and Europe. Her clients range from high te
 ch and biotech companies to manufacturers\, multi-media web developers\, t
 elecommunications companies\, professionals\, vintners\, import/export com
 panies\, to name just a few. She has made it possible for U.S.-based compa
 nies to employ foreign workers on short notice\, and found solutions where
  scarcity of U.S. work visas presented a major challenge to her clients’ b
 usinesses. She successfully negotiated the sale of foreign subsidiaries an
 d represented clients in international contract negotiations. Her past exp
 erience as a litigator is an additional bonus.  Zuzana first obtained a Do
 ctorate in Civil Law from Charles University Law School in Prague\, Czech 
 Republic. After emigrating first to Germany and then to Canada\, she obtai
 ned Civil and Common Law Degrees from 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Law School in Mont
 real\, Quebec\, and was admitted to practice law in California in 1990. Sh
 e is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association\, and past b
 oard member of the American-Australian Chamber of Commerce\, along with ot
 her business and professional organizations. Zuzana has been a frequent sp
 eaker on immigration and business topics for a range of organizations\, in
 cluding the U.S. Department of Commerce\, HULT International Business Scho
 ol\, foreign chambers of commerce\, technology incubators\, business and c
 ommunity organizations\, and a lecturer at the San Francisco State Univers
 ity.
