DESCRIPTION: \n\nThe 2018 BIC Retreat will held at Usine C on December 10th
 \, 2018. This one-day event will not only give us the chance to get to kno
 w each other better\, but will also provide a forum to learn more about th
 e different research activity being conducted at the BIC. Furthermore\, it
  will be an excellent sounding board for exchanging ideas and fostering co
 llaborations with colleagues.\n\nPlease note that Dr. Derek Jones (Cardiff
  University\, Wales\, UK) has accepted our invitation to deliver a keynote
  lecture. In addition to this talk\, the scientific program will be filled
  with a selection of talks from your colleagues at the BIC. There will als
 o be two poster sessions and a panel discussion intended to spark some fri
 endly debate.\n\nThe scientific program will be followed by cocktails and

 ubmit an abstract to contribute to the poster sessions of the BIC Scientif
 ic Retreat taking place on December 10\, 2018. The abstract submission dea
 dline is November 19th\, 2018. Abstracts will be reviewed by the program s
 cientific committee. Authors will be notified by whether their submission 
 will be accepted or not by December 3rd\, 2018. Clinical and research fell
 ows\, residents\, medical students\, post-docs and graduate students may s
 ubmit posters. Abstracts should be limited to one page of text in pdf form
 at and not to exceed 500 words\, single spaced with a space between the ti
 tle/author and the main text. Abstracts should be uploaded when registerin
