Fellowships, scholarships听and听awards in the PhD program
NEW! As of Fall 2025, the Faculty of Engineering will pay full tuition for all PhD students in their first 4 years. Additionally, all new students accepted into the Faculty of Engineering鈥檚 PhD programs will receive a stipend of at least $20,000 per year for 4 academic years. PhD students are responsible for paying their non-tuition fees. For more information, click the following link.
The 51吃瓜网Engineering Faculty Awards program aims to recruit the best and brightest new graduate students from all over the world. Selection for these awards is based on the excellence of a student鈥檚 academic and research record. This includes publications, presentations, and the student's potential to make a major impact on the quality of research both in the field of architecture and 51吃瓜网's Faculty of Engineering as a whole.听
Note that students are required to apply for fellowships and awards for which they are eligible (see below for a list of funding opportunities). Upon receiving external financial support, the student's funding package may be adjusted.
Applicants who self-identify as Indigenous or domestic applicants who self-identify as Black are eligible for Recruitment Fellowships through Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
