 their research citational practices.\n\nTo keep the discussion manageable 
 and ensure the hands-on participation of attendees\, the event is limited

 undtable panel of experts from academic and community research backgrounds
  who will guide participants in the best ways to actively seek out and eng
 age with research sources outside of Eurocentric literature. A workshop an
 d practical exercises\, guided by our experts\, will focus on highlighting
  voices in research that have been historically underrepresented and will 
 also address potential biases through audit exercises of our own libraries
 \, syllabi\, and research bibliographies.\n\nThe event will gather like-mi
 nded researchers and create a safe space to discuss critically how to avoi
 d these pitfalls or call them out when they are witnessed.\n\n \n
